Information for Universities & Colleges Participating in the Student Auditions/Interviews

 

As the largest state conference in the southeastern United States, the auditions/interviews for high school and transfer students affords your institution the opportunity to meet, to evaluate, and to recruit the brightest young theatre students from Florida

 

If your institution will be attending these auditions, please complete Forms “A” and “B” and mail with the appropriate fees to the name and address at the bottom of the forms. More information, as well as the forms, is available about the acting auditions and the design/tech interviews below.

THE COLLEGE AND COMMERCIAL EXPO continues to be a valuable recruitment tool for colleges and universities. The Expo enables potential students to meet your institution’s representatives and to view display materials that showcase your programs. If you are interested in taking part in the Expo, complete the additional information on Form B.

 

In addition, encourage your students to take part in the many events at the FTC Festival. These include:

• Southeastern Theatre Conference Preliminary Auditions - Friday-Saturday
• Workshops conducted by college professors for high school, university, and college students - Wednesday-Thursday
• Performances in the Community Theatre, Secondary Schools, and Theatre for Youth divisions
