As a faculty member or student at a college or university, attending the Florida Theatre Conference Festival on your own can give you opportunities to network with professionals from the many aspects of theatre in Florida. The Secondary Schools Division, the Theatre for Youth Division, and the Community Theatre Division all actively participate in the Festival with single-act competitions and plays. In addition, you can present or participate in the more than 60 workshops presented at the conference. These workshops cover everything from finding an agent to successfully auditioning for a Broadway part to the newest teaching techniques. Even better, you may want to present a workshop on your own.
