The Community Theatre Division was one of the initial units that helped form the Florida Theatre Conference in 1955. Membership in Florida Theatre Conference allows its members to belong to the umbrella organization Florida Association of Community Theatres.
This division sponsors two major periods of activities during the year. They are a community theatre focused networking opportunity and finally the annual fall festival.
The community theatre division sponsored "Spring Fling" is free to FTC members and discusses the following topics:
• Increasing ticket sales
• Broadening a subscription base
• Learning proven fundraising techniques
• Recruiting more volunteer
The annual FTC Festival hosts several activities for the Community Theatre Festival.

If you are interested in being a part of the Community Theatre Festival, download and complete the form at left, and mail with your enclosed check. The deadline for submission is October 1st. Your community theatre group will be featured in the Festival Program issued to each person attending the festival.
Each year more than 1,500 college/university, high school, middle school, and elementary school students, along with community theatre participants, attend the FTC Festival.
As part of the Festival there are more than 60 workshops presented.
We encourage you to share your unique specialty and be a part of the Festival by presenting a workshop.
It is an excellent way to see the talent that is attending the Festival and provide a community service for the state of Florida.
