The mission of the Florida Theatre Conference, Inc. is as follows:

To celebrate the diversity of Florida theatre
To nurture cooperation and communication among the various theatre constituencies
To advance the highest possible standards in theatre
To encourage public appreciation of the art form
To strengthen and support individual theatre artists and theatrical organizations
