The professional division encompasses all aspects of professional theatre including professional theatre companies, theatrical unions, as well as theatrical sales companies.
The Florida Theatre Conference holds its annual festival each fall. The Festival is the largest state festival in the Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) with annual attendance averaging over 1,700. The Festival hosts community theatre productions, secondary school productions, and theatre for youth productions. In addition, the festival hosts over 60 workshops; the SETC preliminary auditions secondary auditions as well as our Exhibit Expo.
The Expo offers colleges and professional companies the opportunity to interview potential theatre professionals to work or study with your organization. The Expo also offers exhibit space to sales organizations looking to feature their products and services. Exhibit space is affordable and sized to fit your personal needs.
I would like to invite you to take a moment to join our organization. You will receive member updates, links to your companies website, as well as the opportunity to join us each fall.
Each year more than 1,500 college/university, high school, middle school, and elementary school students, along with community theatre participants, attend the FTC Festival.
As part of the Festival there are more than 60 workshops presented.
We encourage you to share your unique specialty and be a part of the Festival by presenting a workshop.
It is an excellent way to see the talent that is attending the Festival and provide a community service for the state of Florida.
