Preliminary Auditions for Southeast Theatre Conference
Welcome! This page contains information about the SETC Preliminary Screening Auditions that are held each year at the Florida Theatre Conference.
This year the Preliminary Screening Auditions will be held November 7 and 8, 2008 in Lakeland, Florida. The deadline to apply is October 6, 2008.
NEW APPLICTION PROCESS THIS YEAR:
Mail a $55 money order made out to “Florida Theatre Conference” and a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope by the October 6 deadline to:

AND
Complete the SETC application, which will be available online as of September 15, 2008 and can be found at www.setc.org Please note: This is the ONLY application you will need to fill out.
The deadline to apply is October 6, 2008. If you do not apply by this deadline you will not be permitted to audition. Again, in order to attend the Preliminary Screening Auditions in Lakeland, Florida in November, you need to fill out the SETC application by October 6, 2008.
Missing items will result in a $10 "incomplete fee" to be paid at or prior to the conference or you will not be permitted to audition.
SETC Auditions will be held in Birmingham, Alabama on March 4-8, 2009.
You may SKIP the SETC Preliminary Auditions at Lakeland if you are an Equity Actor. Go to SETC.org to register.

If you pass the Preliminary Auditions in Florida and are selected for auditions at SETC in Birmingham on March 4-8, 2009, you will need to go back to the SETC website (setc.org) and complete your registration. Information can also be found on the SETC website regarding the conference, hotels, and workshops.
