About the Middle School / Youth Division
Middle School / Youth Theatre / One-Act Play Festival (Additional fees apply)
FTC invites you to perform a one-act in the Middle School/Youth Theatre One-Act Play Festival! FTC’s Middle School/Youth Theatre/ One-Act Play Festival performance guidelines align with Florida Junior Thespian guidelines, giving your students an excellent performance opportunity prior to District Thespians. Feedback from two FTC Respondents gives you constructive and encouraging advice on strengthening your production. For guidelines on this festival, please CLICK HERE.

Alongside feedback there are festival wide and show specific awards.
For more information about reserving a one-act spot, please contact maria@flatheatre.org
Please reserve your spot for your One Act soon as there is limited availability of spots. You may (and are encouraged to) register for your One Act before the full conference to allow for more time to prepare for the needs of the festival.

Workshops
As a member of FTC, the students in your organization will have access to a variety of workshops presented by expert instructors, special guests, vendors, colleges, and professionals.

Multiple workshops on Saturday will be specifically targeted towards younger participants, making them engaging and appropriate for your students and chaperones. Are you a teacher who'd be interested in leading a workshop? We'd love to hear your proposal!

Performing and attending FTC is an excellent opportunity to satisfy middle school theatre standards!
