Individual Attendees
There's something for everyone at FTC, and you don't have to be coming with a large school group or theatre organization to experience all the amazing opportunities at our Conference. We welcome Individual Attendees to register themselves using the Registration Portal, but we do ask you to remember the following:

Any high school, middle school, or elementary school student attending the Conference as an Individual Attendee (i.e., without their school or theatre organization) must be accompanied by an adult chaperone (preferably a Parent/Guardian), for liability purposes. Both the Student and the Chaperone should complete separate Individual Attendee registrations and the Chaperone should note in the comment section that they are attending as Chaperone for the student.

PLEASE DO NOT select any of the "Student Fee" or "Chaperone Fee" sections in the Registration portal, as these are intended for School groups and not for Indidivual Attendees.

For example, if "Darla Mangold" is a High School Senior, attending without her high school and participating in the Senior College Auditions, her total registration fee will be $75 ($50 Individual Attendee + $25 Audition fee), and then her parent, "Kim Mangold" will complete a separate Individual Attendee registration and only pay the $50 Individual Attendee Registration fee.

You only pay one "Audition" fee, as you're only performing one audition or interview, in front of all the different College Reps at once.

If you are a High School Junior, participating in the Junior Audition Masterclass, you still pay the $25 fee, as you'll receive valuable feedback and experience to prepare you for your Senior year audition.

College students who are attending the Conference without their Colleges, or who are paying/registering for themselves, should register as Individual Attendees (NOT "State Colleges" or "Colleges/Universities"). As long as they are at least 18 years old, these Individual Attendees do NOT need to be accompanied by a Chaperone.

Individual Attendees can still participate in College and Scholarship Auditions and attend performances and workshops, but the same rules and deadlines apply to them as to Attendees registering with a group (Please see the respective pages for those types of attendees).

Information for Individual Attendees
College Auditions (2024 fees apply)
The college audition process is open to all Florida Senior high school students and 2-year state college students. There will be representatives from colleges, universities, and conservatories from around the country who attend and are actively recruiting excellent talent that Florida is known for.
Students are able to audition in either "Acting," "Musical Theatre," or "Tech/Design" categories. Click HERE for audition guidelines.

Individual slots for these auditions fill first come-first served based on submission of the Audition Registration Forms (ARFs), which are additional forms separate from your initial Conference Registration. If a student does not submit an ARF by 5:00 pm on October 9, 2026, or if all slots are filled before then, the student will not be able to audition for the colleges at this year's Conference. Slots fill fast, so please get your Conference Registrations and ARFs in ASAP.
ARF forms will be emailed to students who have completed their Conference Registration and indicated they are participating in the Jr./Senior Auditions (or Tech Interviews). These forms must be completed and submitted back to our audition coordinator by 5:00 pm on October 9, 2026.

Junior Audition Masterclass (see fees below)
Please Note: The audition process for Juniors has significantly changed from previous years, so it is REQUIRED that all teachers and Junior auditionees read the Audition guidelines found HERE to fully understand the changes this year.
For our Juniors, we are offering a separate Junior Audition Masterclass, wherein High School Juniors get the chance to go through the exact same college audition experience as the Seniors for a smaller group of college and university reps who will actually give 3-5 minutes of feedback on each Junior audition. This is a great way for Juniors to prepare for their Senior Year college auditions as well as allowing college reps to see the talent coming down the line!
Students are able to audition in either "Acting," or "Musical Theatre" Click HERE for audition guidelines. The fee to participate in the Junior Audition Masterclass is also $25, as you will be gaining valuable experience and feedback to prepare you for your Senior Auditions next year.

Scholarships
High School Seniors can add a scholarship audition to their registration (free of charge). Winners in a variety of disciplines will be chosen by our scholarship review committee of instructors and professionals. For more information, click here.
College Fair
Students will have access to dozens of in-state and out-of-state schools. They will be able to gather information on schools, speak with college reps, or even participate in audition callbacks. There are a variety of post-secondary options to choose from. We invite you to check out additional vendors and companies providing all sorts of theatrical products and services as well.
Workshops
As members of FTC, you will have access to a variety of workshops presented by expert instructors, special guests, vendors, colleges, and professionals. You may even apply to present one of your own. To submit your Workshop Proposal, Click Here.

MEMBERSHIP FEE - $50
AUDITION/TECH INTERVIEW Fee - $25 per Audition (HS Jr Audition Masterclass AND HS Srs or College Transfer students)
FTC T-SHIRT - $10 per Shirt
FRIDAY NIGHT GUEST PERFORMANCES - $5 per Ticket
(Opening Night Celebration Tickets and HS Senior Scholarship Applications are free but need to be requested/listed in the Registration process)

If Subtotal is less than $100: $10
If Subtotal is from $100 to $499: $50
If Subtotal is from $500 to $1,000: $100
If Subtotal is $1,000 or greater: $150
IMPORTANT DEADLINES
FTC '26 REGISTRATION DEADLINE | 5:00 pm on 10/2/26
Registrations can still be completed after October 2, 2026 up to the day(s) of the Conference onsite, but these late registrations will not be able to perform in the one-act festivals, college auditions, or scholarship auditions and will be charged a late registration fee.
While registrations will continue to be accepted up to the days of the Conference onsite, certain divisions like College Auditions have very strict due dates and will absolutely NOT be able to accommodate registrations received after October 2. Even if the payment will be delayed, it is essential to get all necessary Conference Registration materials submitted by the due date of 5:00 pm on October 2, 2026. Audition Registration Forms can be submitted up to 5:00 pm on October 9, 2026.
