Each year, over fifty colleges, universities, and conservatories from around the United States are represented at the Florida Theatre Conference, where acting, musical theatre, and design/technical auditions are held for over 380 high school juniors and seniors, and over 50 students transferring from state colleges. The FTC auditions are the first to be held during the school year in Florida.

This is an opportunity for you and your institution to make a positive, lasting impression on a group of motivated students focused on continuing their arts education.

Registration is simple – complete the online submission form. You will be contacted to confirm your slot.

Student Auditions and Interviews

As one of the largest state theatre conference in the southeastern United States, auditions and interviews with high school and college transfer students gives your institution an opportunity to meet, evaluate, and recruit the brightest young theatre students from Florida.

Auditions will be held November 2 & 3. Callbacks/Interviews will be held across three days November 2-4.

FTC will provide the space for College Reps to connect with prospective student to meet after the initial auditions and help coordinate meeting times.

College Fair

The College Fair continues to be a valuable recruitment tool for colleges and universities. The Fair enables potential students and their parents or guardians to meet your institution’s representatives and showcase your programs.


The College Fair will be held during the entire conference with scheduled meetings on November 2-4 coordinated by FTC.

Workshops

College Reps have found that facilitating workshops during the Florida Theatre Conference can be a valuable tool for their recruiting process.

Submissions are not an automatic entry. Proposals will be reviewed and approved by the FTC Planning Committee.
