Why Attend FTC

FTC invites you to perform a one-act in the High School One-Act Play Festival at Florida Theatre Conference! FTC’s High School One-Act Play Festival performance guidelines roughly align with Florida Thespian guidelines, giving your students an excellent performance opportunity prior to District Thespians. Feedback from two FTC Respondents gives you constructive and encouraging advice on strengthening your production. Alongside feedback there are festival wide and show specific awards.

Please reserve your spot for your One Act soon as there is limited availability of spots. You may (and are encouraged to) register for your One Act before the full conference to allow for more time to prepare for the needs of the festival.

The audition process is open to all Florida junior and senior high school students. There will be representatives from colleges, universities, and conservatories from around the country who attend and are actively recruiting excellent talent that Florida is known for.

What’s In Store?*
